Position Overview
We are seeking a hardworking Low Voltage Helper / Cable Puller to support our field teams in the installation of large-scale infrastructure projects. This entry-level high-energy role is for someone eager to learn the foundations of low-voltage systems while working efficiently in a fast-paced luxury high-rise construction environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Cable Installation: Pull and route low-voltage cabling (Cat6 Fiber Coax) through conduits cable trays and wall penetrations.
- Site Preparation: Assist in staging materials setting up ladders and ensuring the workspace is clean and compliant with safety standards.
- Labeling & Organization: Apply precise labels to cabling and help organize wire runs in data closets and head-end racks.
- Tool Management: Support Lead Technicians by maintaining and transporting the necessary tools and equipment across the job site.
- Support Tasks: Perform basic mounting of hardware and assist with final system testing under the direction of the Foreman.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in construction or manual labor is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs climb ladders and work on your feet for full shifts in active construction sites.
- Communication: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.
- Reliability: Punctuality and reliable transportation are essential for maintaining our project schedules.
- Aptitude: A "can-do" attitude and a strong desire to grow into a Lead Technician role.
