Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Low-Voltage Drafter 1 to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare 2D AutoCAD drawings for low-voltage systems including floor plans device layouts riser diagrams and details.
• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to develop coordinated low-voltage documentation.
• Revise drawings based on redlines field markups and engineer input.
• Maintain drawing accuracy file organization and adherence to company drafting standards.
• Collaborate with engineers project managers and senior drafters to resolve drawing issues.
• Assist with preparation of submittal packages shop drawings and record documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting required).
• 02 years of drafting experience (internship or related coursework acceptable).
• Ability to read and understand construction documents.
• Strong attention to detail organizational skills and commitment to accuracy.
• Willingness to learn and grow in low-voltage design and drafting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to take direction from senior team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to or familiarity with low-voltage systems (AV security fire alarm intercom nurse call etc.).
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu or other markup/review tools.
• Basic knowledge of industry standards (BICSI NFPA IBC) is a plus.
• Associate degree technical certificate or relevant coursework in Drafting or Design Technology.

The hourly pay range for this position is $$ per hour. The starting hourly pay will be determined based on qualifications experience education skills certifications and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
