LogisticsImport Manager

Growing Private Baby Apparel & Product Company seeking a talented Logistics/Import Manager. This position will work with the 3PL Warehouse overseas Manufacturers to keep the imported merchandise moving on time to meet retailers fulfillment dates. It will work with the India Import Team freight forwarders and domestic 3PL as well as corporate headquarters. Key responsibilities include: warehouse coordination container receiving outbound shipping on time delivery retailer requirements and oversee the import process. • BS/BA Degree
• Must have 5 years import experience working with ocean freight freight forwarders ETD/ETA management and shipping documents.
• Must have 5 years experienceworking knowledge of warehouse operations.
• Must have strong organizational skills detailed oriented ability to prioritize self starter strong follow-up skills problem solver and excellent communication skills
• Occasional travel to Los Angeles CA as needed to work with 3PL
• Easy location from public transportation into NYC
• Compensation: $80k - $90K hybrid role
