Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable hands on Logistics/Warehouse Associate to assist with the management of supply chain activities. You will support the Installation Manager monitor & upkeep inventory loading & unloading freight inputting freight information & photos into system product staging.

To be successful as a logistics associate you should be able to maintain records in digital databases and ensure that shipments are received and communicated for installation. Ultimately a top-notch Logistics Associate should be highly organized detail-oriented and able to manage the flow of incoming and outgoing goods with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the daily coordination and organization of materials signage equipment and deliveries
Receive inspect organize stage and move materials throughout the shop and yard
Safely lift carry load and unload materials and signage as needed
Use basic hand tools and assist with general shop and material-handling tasks
Help prepare materials and signage for installation delivery or production
Maintain and organize clean and safe shop and yard environment
Assist with inventory organization and tracking of materials
Loading & unloading freight using forklift
Inputting freight information & photos into system
Responsible for maintaining yard cleanliness and organized
Move product/material throughout the yard ensuring placement within correct areas using forklift
Help prioritize daily logistics and ensure jobs and materials are properly staged and ready on schedule
Track shipments and resolve any delivery or inventory issues
Perform both indoor shop work and outdoor yard work as required
Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with coworkers and management
Follow company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

Lifting and carrying signage materials boxes tools and equipment
Loading and unloading materials and vehicles
Standing walking bending reaching and moving materials throughout the day
Working with basic hand tools
Working both indoors and outdoors including the company yard
Working in varying weather conditions when completing outdoor tasks
Maintaining a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED with at least three years of experience in logistics management or a related role
Strong organizational and time management skills
Reliable dependable and willing to take initiative
Comfortable working with a team and communicating effectively
Ability to follow instructions and prioritize multiple tasks
Comfortable working in both an office environment and a shop/yard environment
Basic familiarity with hand tools and material handling is preferred
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Experience with inventory management systems and logistics software (preferred)
Knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures and freight coordination
Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
Proficiency in MS Office and database management.
Knowledge of inventory management and logistics elements.
Ability to sit climb and crouch as well as lift and move products and materials.

Great to Know:

Background in commercial signage printing or construction related industries
Familiarity with materials such as acrylic aluminum vinyl and LED components

Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
