Description and Responsibilities:

• The Logistics Engineer focuses on optimizing complete logistics flows from the supplier to the point of use based on efficiency and safety standards.
• Preparing and coordinating takt time process and product changes.
• Executing and implementing approved improvements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Performing engineering tasks including frequency studies and standard operating procedures.
• Implementing changes to logistics flows and internal/external logistics setups.
• Rebuilding logistics setups as needed.
• Work is performed under close supervision.
• Problems encountered are generally not difficult or complex.
• Explains facts policies and practices related to the job area.
