Logistics Data Analyst

Vertiv is seeking a Logistics Data Analyst to support the logistics team with data analysis & reporting ongoing optimization of a Lead Logistics Provider (LLP) model across the Americas region. This role will be critical in supporting data-driven decision-making improving logistics processes and ensuring operational excellence in partnership with our operations and internal stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the development and design of a centralized repository of logistics data. Need to develop define design and implement a date lake aggregating various siloed internal and external data sources.
• Drive the ability to analyze logistics data quickly efficiently and intuitively through Power BI AI and other advanced tools leveraging dashboards and scorecards to accelerate data-driven insight.
• Partner with the operations and internal stakeholders (Logistics Procurement Operations Master Data etc.) to drive process standardization and visibility. Provide insights and find improvement opportunities to ensure reporting solutions address key objectives.
• Analyze and consolidate logistics data (freight spend carrier performance service levels) to develop and monitor KPIs aligned to operations performance.
• Identify and resolve data integrity issues related to logistics and financial data. Ensures the accuracy consistency and security of data across all reports and analyses.
• Assist in building a culture of lean thinking and continuous improvement in logistics operations excellence.
• Document logistics processes and provide training or support to internal teams related to operational initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve data collection and reporting processes and implement standard methodologies for data management and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• Minimum of3 - 5 years of experience in supply chain logistics or operationsroles.
• Strong knowledge of tools such asExcel PowerBI PowerPoint; experience withprocess mapping (e.g. Visio Lucid)preferred.
• Understanding of warehouse operations carrier management and logistics procurement processes.
• Demonstrated ability tomanage projects communicate across cross-functional teams and drive execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience inlogistics data analysisand process improvement
• Experience in both International and Domestic logistics activities
• Experience with PowerBI and other data analysis/visualization tools (Microsoft Excel PowerPoint etc.)
• Experience with process mapping tools preferred (e.g. Microsoft Visio Lucid)
• Project Management Skills ability to organize and communicate. Use goals to guide actions and create detailed action plans and processes.
• Critical thinker and analytical
• Solid business management skills and reputation as a change agent.
• Ability to communicate to various audiences and train others.
• Execution oriented with a strong sense of urgency around tangible results.
• English language skills required and Spanish language is a plus

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

• BS/BA in Supply Chain Logistics Business Engineering Data Science/Analytics Computer Science or related area.
