Job summary:
Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new independent publicly traded company which were calling SpinCo until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs this role will support SpinCo which will focus on critical digital infrastructure delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Logistics Analyst located in Columbia South Carolina USA.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager the Logistics Analyst coordinates transportation inventory warehousing and distribution activities to ensure efficient supply chain operations. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve delivery performance optimize costs enhance inventory accuracy and drive continuous improvement through data analysis and process optimization.
WHAT A TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE:
- Analyze logistics and supply chain data to identify trends inefficiencies and opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Track product flows from origin to final delivery ensuring timely and accurate movement of materials and inventory.
- Develop and maintain logistics performance reports and key metrics including on-time delivery transportation costs and order fulfillment rates.
- Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize service levels improve operational efficiency and minimize costs.
- Recommend and implement improvements to logistics processes transportation strategies and distribution networks.
- Maintain logistics databases and systems ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with carriers freight forwarders and transportation providers to manage shipments schedules and freight costs.
- Support forecasting cost analysis and logistics planning through data modeling and evaluation of supply chain performance.
THE EXPERIENCE WERE LOOKING TO ADD TO THE TEAM:
- Typically requires a Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- Typically requires 3 years of experience in materials or related field.
- A background in manufacturing is desired.
- A background in trade compliance tariffs and duties is desired.
