Locum Physician OBGYN

**Responsibilities Overview**

We are seeking one OB/GYN provider for coverage from Monday November 9 2026 at 6 PM to Monday November 16 2026 at 6 PM. The role encompasses a variety of clinical responsibilities including:

- **On-call Support**: 24/7 availability is expected including outpatient and emergency department consultations as well as inpatient OB/GYN care.

- **OB/GYN Office and Prenatal Clinic**: Clinics will operate up to twice weekly specifically on Tuesdays (2-5 PM) and Fridays (9 AM - 12 PM).

- **Client Load**: Typical clinic sessions will manage around 12 patients averaging 4 patients per hour.

- **Procedural Involvement**: Responsibilities include performing surgeries as the primary surgeon or as an assistant managing labor and conducting inpatient rounds.

**Clinic Operations**: - The prenatal clinic will predominantly consist of 100% prenatal care with sessions typically scheduled 1-2 times a week occasionally up to 3 times. Standard operational days are Mondays and Wednesdays with clinic hours beginning at 9 AM and lasting 1-3 hours based on patient needs.

- The patient mix is expected to be approximately 90% prenatal and 10% GYN.

- The facility averages around 80 deliveries annually with scheduled C-sections occasionally included during locum assignments ideally not overlapping with morning clinic hours.

**Orientation and Credentialing Requirements**: - Newly assigned locum providers are required to arrive one day prior to their scheduled start date to complete necessary orientation related to hospital protocols clinical practice and EMR/CPOE systems. Note that there will be no night call during this orientation.

- Proficiency with EMR and CPOE systems is mandatory; candidates should also be familiar with Dragon voice recognition software as no dictation services will be available.

- Candidates are preferred to have pre-completed credentialing through the locum agency and to have successfully completed at least two prior locum assignments with positive evaluations. A New Hampshire medical license (permanent or locum not temporary) is also strongly preferred.

- All candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria outlined for OB/GYN privileges including current certification in neonatal resuscitation.

- Preference will be given to candidates who can cover multiple weeks and facilitate limited travel.
