PAY BREAKDOWN

- Mileage: $0.48/mile starting increasing $0.01 each year up to $0.55. Hub miles paid loaded and empty.

- Live load: $65

- Drop and hook: $40

- Hazmat load: $25

- Reefer load: $30

- Empty move: $15

- Crosstown move: $23-$55 depending on ramp distance

- Rail delay: $20/hour after the first hour

- Detention: $20-$25/hour

- Ramp training: $250/day

SHIFTS

- Monday-Friday: 12:00 PM 2:00 PM 3:00 PM 4:00 PM 5:00 PM 7:00 PM 8:00 PM 11:00 PM start

- Tuesday-Saturday: 5:00 PM or 2:00 AM start

Local intermodal container moves between Chicago rail yards and customers in Illinois and Wisconsin. Drive to Chicago rail yards daily. Mostly drop and hook some live loads. 100% no-touch freight. About 1500 miles and 9 stops a week. Day cabs. Slip seat. The tractor stays at the yard during time off.

REQUIREMENTS

- 21 with valid Class A CDL no restrictions

- 3 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience

- Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire (company reimburses with receipts)

- No DUI in the last 5 years

- Pass hair and urine drug testing
