- Mileage: $0.68-$0.74 per mile

- Stop pay: $28.50-$30 per stop

- NYC stop: $62.50 per load

- Truck move: $50

- Detention: $15/hour

- Training: $200/day

- Safety training: $20/hour

- Holiday pay: $280/day

- Start and stop at the West Haven yard (5 Industry Dr Ext)

Fresh and frozen grocery deliveries to supermarkets and distribution centers within 250 miles. Covers NY Hudson Valley Long Island the NYC boroughs NJ and CT with backhauls into PA. Multi-stop 15 stops a week. Usually 2 loads a day or one long load. Mostly no-touch customer unloads and you assist. New drivers train with NYC-certified trainers before NYC solo routes. About 20-25% of freight goes to NYC.

You may help other local accounts 2-3 days a week with pallet jack training provided.

Automatic and manual daycabs slip seat no take-home. Trucks average 3 years old. Uniforms provided.

Thanksgiving and Christmas are off. New Years is not guaranteed.

REQUIREMENTS

- 21 with valid Class A CDL

- 3 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience

- Personal reliable transportation to and from work daily

- Good customer service skills

- Comfortable with slip seating

- No DUI in the last 5 years

- Pass hair and urine drug testing
