Principal Accountabilities
- Operating equipment associated with the loadout and unloading process for bulk materials including trucks and/or rail cars utilizing scales pumps conveyors and mobile equipment
- Creating scale tickets collecting product samples and supervising tank inventory utilizing computer systems to input and record data as necessary
- Inspecting buildings grounds and equipment utilized by the facility to perform light maintenance and repair work; determine immediate and long range needs for maintenance and repair work
- Solve issues independently with minimal guidance
- Interacting regularly with peers management merchants and customers to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environment
- Taking initiative in making decisions within your scope and escalating other issues to your supervisor or manager
- Providing a high level of customer service
- Understanding and adhering to all policies and procedures
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to independently problem solve and resolve issues within the scope of the role
- Ability to to learn computer software programs such as Microsoft Office Outlook and SAP
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat cold dust loud noise etc. with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to work in elevated areas (140 feet and above) via ladders and/or stairs
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending lifting up to 50lbs kneeling climbing crawling and twisting with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Must have very good time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously prioritize tasks and follow-up skills
- Must have high attention to detail
- Ability to work overtime weekends and holidays with advance notice
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems
- Experience working in a production related work
