Job Summary
You will work cross-functionally with internal teams to drive new features and processes. Interface with vendors on proof-of-concept evaluations and issue this role the incumbent will also support event-operations teams on live-streaming services. This role will consult on the setup and maintenance of live encoding workflows. You will also work with client teams to ensure features are performing as intended across devices. You will be challenged to diagnose and troubleshoot live video delivery issues with urgency. This role will also work with support teams to craft issue communication with leadership. Troubleshoot complex partner and vendor integrations. Creating maintaining and executing playbooks RCAs and integration specifications.
6 years experiencenAbility to effectively work with cross functional teams to understand requirements and operation of highly performant video and media systems using IP based infrastructure such as SMPTE-2110 and SMPTE-2022-7nDeep understanding of live production technologies and buildout of large scale infrastructures focused on live broadcast systemsnExperience with video monitoring tools (Video and transport quality monitoring)nExpertise with live streaming encoding technologies and transport networks (J2K JPXS MPEG SRT and HLS Protocols)nExperience with 4k HDR and ATMOS in live transmission and streaming environmentsnThis role requires full-time in-office attendancen
Network design and troubleshootingnSome scripting experience (Python Bash)nFamiliar with data interchange formats (XML JSON)nFamiliar with SCTE-35/104 and SCTE-224/ESNInExperience analyzing system logsnThis role will require occasional after-hours and weekend with issue tracking and technical designing integrating and operating broadcast infrastructuren
