Live-In Roommate

In this unique opportunity youll share an apartment in Oceanside or surrounding areas split housing costs and provide guidance and support that helps someone build confidence independence and community connections.

• Live-in roommate opportunity in Oceanside or surrounding area
• Support an individual transitioning to independent living
• Flexible daytime schedule to pursue your own work school or personal commitments
• Paid support hours during evenings overnight mornings and weekends

As a Live-In Roommate you will support an individual in developing daily living skills and successfully managing their home and community life. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with budgeting financial tracking and monthly spending
• Grocery shopping and preparing meals together
• Supporting household organization and maintaining a clean living environment
• Encouraging participation in community activities hobbies and personal interests
• Helping create a home environment that reflects the individuals preferences and needs
• Supporting relationship-building with neighbors and community members
• Promoting healthy lifestyle choices and wellness habits
• Providing companionship encouragement and guidance while maintaining professional boundaries

During the day you are free to work attend school or pursue personal activities. Paid support hours are typically provided during:

• Evenings
• Overnight sleeping shifts
• Mornings
• Weekends

Additional daytime support opportunities may be available.

Starting Pay

• $20-21/hour for daytime support hours
• Minimum wage for overnight sleeping support hours
