LitigationLabor & Employment Paralegal

Angott Search Group is partnering with a well-established Michigan law firm to find an experienced and detail-oriented Litigation / Labor & Employment Paralegal to join its Troy office. This position will support attorneys throughout the litigation process including discovery legal document preparation case management and trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare proofread and file legal documents including pleadings briefs motions and discovery materials.

• Manage discovery processes including document collection review production and responses.

• Coordinate depositions hearings trial preparation and related exhibits.

• Maintain organized electronic case files litigation calendars and court deadlines.

• Conduct legal research investigations and fact-checking to support attorneys.

• Prepare tables of contents and authorities and manage electronic filings in state and federal courts.

• Assist with case management trial support and post-judgment proceedings.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure accuracy in all legal documentation.

Qualifications

• 57 years of litigation and labor & employment legal support experience.

• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures discovery and state and federal court filings.

• Experience with electronic filing systems and legal document preparation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro; SurePoint and Concur experience a plus.

• Excellent proofreading organizational communication and multitasking skills.

• Ability to work independently manage deadlines and support multiple attorneys.

• Paralegal degree or certificate preferred.
