Our client a premier intellectual property law firm seeks a Litigation Paralegal who must be able to handle all aspects of complex litigations from pre-litigation phase through trial and appeal.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organizing and maintaining case files and databases on a daily basis.
- Maintaining case dockets and advising attorneys of due dates.
- Organizing and coordinating document retrieval and review projects.
- Performing basic legal and factual research.
- Assisting in the preparation of pleadings exhibits written discovery and production documents for motions discovery hearings and trials.
- Cite checking and proofreading pleadings and other documents.
- Overseeing and managing all aspects of a case from pre-litigation through trial and appeal.
- Ability to work independently with a strong attention to details.
- Maintaining up-to-date time reports to ensure accurate client billing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree and minimum of 3 plus years of PatentLitigation experience.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to set priorities and multi-task.
- Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communications skills.
- Knowledge of federal court rules and procedures litigation terminology and documentation and docketing procedures.
- Computer proficient with experience and working knowledge of Lexis Westlaw and other litigation-research databases.
- Familiarity with case management software E-Discovery and Electronic Case Filing (CM/ECF) procedures is required.
- IP litigation PTAB and/or ITC experience.
- Ability to work overtime and some travel may be required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- May require sitting for long periods of time and must be able to lift 10 pounds.
