Job Summary
Litigation Paralegal Complex Class Action (San Fran CA or Boston MA)
Salary: $90K to $120k
We are looking for a Litigation Paralegal with 2-5 years of experience to join one of the nations top plaintiff securities litigation firms. Youll be an integral team member working on high-profile securities class actions helping build the factual foundations of complex cases alongside talented attorneys in a collaborative mission-driven environment.
What will you be doing
- Assisting attorneys in all phases of securities litigation including cite checking fact checking and proofreading legal documents
- Conducting legal and factual research to help build the factual aspects of cases
- Managing document review and e-discovery using platforms like Relativity or Everlaw
- Assisting with marketing duties including completing RFPs (Requests for Proposals) from government entities
- Coordinating and tracking complex motion filings in federal and state courts
Key Requirements
- Bachelors degree required (not a paralegal-only degree must have a true undergraduate degree)
- 2-5 years of litigation experience preferably in securities antitrust or complex class actions (no family law or simple practice areas)
- Excellent writing proofreading and organizational skills if you cant write and proofread this isnt the role
- Must be willing to work in-office 3 days/week (Tuesday Wednesday Thursday); no fully remote candidates
- Stable work history with no excessive job hopping; genuine interest in plaintiff-side work
Work experience
- Litigation paralegal experience at a complex litigation firm (securities antitrust or class action preferred; must be complex lit not family law or simple PI)
- Experience with e-discovery platforms (Relativity Everlaw or similar document review tools)
- Proficient with Bluebook cite-checking rules
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint)
- Highly organized with ability to independently manage multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure
Nice-to-have
- Experience at a defense-side firm handling complex cases is a strong fit (large defense firm caliber)
- Experience with court filings motion practice and cite-checking in federal/state courts
