Location: Binghamton NY. Hybrid schedule available after 3 months with up to 2 days working from home.

Note: Must be admitted to practice in New York State and have a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Job Description

• Manage litigation matters through all phases from initial case evaluation through resolution.
• Draft pleadings motions discovery memoranda of law settlement documents and other legal filings.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies.
• Participate in depositions hearings arbitrations oral arguments and trials.
• Advise clients regarding legal strategy risk and potential outcomes.
• Negotiate settlements and work toward favorable resolutions.
• Consult with prospective clients and evaluate potential matters.
• Maintain strong client relationships while managing deadlines and procedural requirements.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support professionals across practice areas and offices.
• Deliver thoughtful responsive and high-quality legal service.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active New York State Bar admission
• Strong legal research writing analytical negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Excellent communication organization judgment and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively.
• Genuine interest in continued professional development and client service.
