Job Description

• Manage and support civil litigation cases from initial investigation through resolution.
• Draft pleadings motions briefs discovery requests and other legal documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions and participate in hearings mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Assist with trial preparation and gain opportunities to participate in jury trials.
• Work directly with clients witnesses experts and opposing counsel.
• Analyze case evidence medical records and claims documentation.
• Collaborate with experienced trial attorneys to develop effective litigation strategies.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Texas.
• Newly licensed attorneys and candidates with up to 3 years of experience are welcome.
• Interest in civil litigation insurance defense or personal injury litigation.
• Strong legal research writing communication and organizational skills.
• Eagerness to learn take initiative and build a successful litigation career.
• Prior civil litigation or insurance defense experience is a plus not a requirement.
