Location:Hybrid opportunity based in Temecula California offering the flexibility to work both in the office and remotely while collaborating with an experienced litigation team.

Note:Applicants must be licensed to practice law in California and have 2 years of litigation experience in insurance coverage litigation and/or complex commercial litigation.

Job Description

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Analyze insurance policies and complex coverage issues.
• Draft pleadings motions briefs and other substantive legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
• Handle written discovery and motion practice.
• Take and defend depositions of parties fact witnesses and experts.
• Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide strategic legal guidance.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices on complex litigation matters.
• Mentor junior attorneys and legal support staff as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license required.
• 2 years of litigation experience in insurance coverage litigation and/or complex commercial litigation.
• Strong legal research writing and analytical skills.
• Experience drafting motions pleadings and briefs.
• Deposition and courtroom experience preferred.
• Insurance coverage or policyholder-side litigation experience highly preferred.
• Construction-related insurance or construction defect experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
