Location

Join our team in Kansas City Missouri in a full-time on-site position. Youll work closely with accomplished attorneys in a collaborative office environment where you can sharpen your skills and make a real impact. Compensation starts at $120000 with additional earning potential based on experience.

Note

Were seeking attorneys with civil litigation experience strong legal research and writing skills and a willingness to work on-site in Kansas City. Candidates with 1 year of relevant litigation experience are encouraged to apply with 2 years preferred. Missouri and/or Kansas bar admission is strongly desired.

Job Description

• Manage and support complex civil and commercial litigation matters from initial investigation through resolution.
• Draft compelling motions pleadings briefs and other legal documents.
• Handle discovery including document review written discovery and deposition preparation.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Assist with trial preparation hearings and appellate matters.
• Work directly with clients providing thoughtful legal guidance and practical solutions.
• Collaborate with experienced litigators on employment insurance business and other civil disputes.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• 1 year of civil litigation experience; 2 years preferred.
• Active Missouri or Kansas bar admission preferred; dual licensure is a plus.
• Experience with discovery legal research and drafting litigation documents.
• Strong writing analytical organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative legal team.

• $120K$135K (1 to 3 yrs)
• $135K$160K (4 to 6 yrs)
