Linux Administrator Datacenter Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Linux Administrator / Datacenter Engineer with strong expertise in Linux administration VMware infrastructure storage management and performance troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting enterprise datacenter environments driving critical incident resolution and managing complex Linux and virtualization platforms.

This role requires excellent technical troubleshooting skills customer-facing communication and the ability to lead high-priority production support activities.

• Administer and support Linux environments including RHEL and Ubuntu.
• Manage and maintain VMware virtual infrastructure.
• Perform advanced file system administration using XFS and EXT4.
• Configure and manage Multipathing iSCSI and Fibre Channel (FC) Storage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve CPU Memory Disk I/O and system performance issues.
• Lead P1/Priority-1 incident calls and coordinate troubleshooting activities with customers and support teams.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for critical incidents and system outages.
• Perform file system recovery corruption remediation and performance tuning.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve operational efficiency.
• Support datacenter operations and ensure platform stability availability and performance.
• Collaborate with infrastructure storage virtualization and application teams.

• Strong Linux Administration experience (RHEL and Ubuntu).
• Advanced knowledge of:
  • XFS and EXT4 File Systems
  • Multipathing
  • iSCSI Storage
  • Fibre Channel (FC) Storage
  • File System Management and Recovery
• Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting:
  • CPU Utilization
  • Memory Management
  • Disk I/O Performance
• Strong scripting and automation skills.

• Hands-on VMware Administration experience.
• Experience troubleshooting Linux and VMware integrated environments.

• Experience handling production support environments.
• Ability to lead critical P1 troubleshooting and bridge calls.
• Strong Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills.

• Windows Server Administration.
• Windows 10/11 Environment Management.
• Active Directory Administration.
• Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM).
• Microsoft Intune.
• Microsoft Exchange Online.
• Azure Platform Administration.

• 6 8 years of relevant infrastructure administration experience.
• Experience working in enterprise datacenter environments.
• Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience leading onsite infrastructure operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
