Key Responsibilities:
- Provide linguistic expertise while delivering data for large language models
- Collaborate with other linguists and data operations teams in data collection data curation and annotation efforts
- Evaluate and curate data sets for ML models using LLM solutions
- Assess model performance and data quality
- Engage in prompt engineering
- Create guidelines to support labeling projects for consistent language data annotation
- Develop complex and consistent linguistic analyses collaboratively
- Key Skills;Masters or PhD in Linguistics language technologies computational linguistics or related field
- Experience with machine learning frameworks NLP Libraries and Tools
- 4-5 years of experience working in a Linguist role
- Conversational assistant ML Support LLMs
- Bachelors degree in general Linguistics Computational Linguistics or related field
- Experience with regular expression encoding
- Knowledge of syntax semantics pragmatics sociolinguistics corpus linguistics and other areas of linguistics
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with database queries and data analysis processes (i.e. SQL spreadsheets)
- Experience working with speech and text data
- Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) prompt engineering and their applications
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced highly collaborative dynamic work environment
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
