Back of the House Team Member Line Cook / Prep Cook

The Back of the House Team Member is responsible to ensure all NEWKs guests are presented with superior products that are prepared according to NEWKs high standards. This position also assists the restaurant team in achieving planned sales by performing all responsibilities and tasks of their position according to NEWKs standards policies and procedures for operational excellence. The Back of the House Team Member also helps to protect the brand by maintaining a sanitary safe respectful efficient and a high-quality work environment while effectively managing operational/product costs. Responsibilities Include

• Work well and interacts with others respectfully
• Respond positively to coaching and feedback
• Able to learn and execute multiple tasks
• Follow safety food safety and sanitation guidelines; comply with all applicable laws
• Maintain clean and neat work environment
• Execute restaurant standards and marketing initiatives
• Prepare and deliver all products according to Brand standards

Physical Requirements

• Extensive standing without breaks.
• Exposure to heat smoke and cold.
• Reaching heights of approximately six feet and depths of approximately three ft.
• Must have high level of mobility/flexibility in space provided for periods of up to eight hours or longer as needed.
• Effective communication with peers managers and guests.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States

• Work in fast-paced environment
• Anticipate and understand guests needs and their expectations
• Must be at least 16 years old
