Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a cook in a full-service restaurant hotel or similar food service establishment preferred.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques food preparation methods and kitchen operations.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow recipes instructions and portion control requirements accurately.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely handle kitchen equipment.
- Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays.
- Food Handlers Permit or ServSafe Certification preferred where required by local regulations
