Job Summary
Bridging Programs Licensing and Compliance Coordinator
Location/Schedule: Western North Carolina hybrid. Must be able to travel to Bridging Program home locations including Avery County Hendersonville Metrolina Region Smoky Region and Winston-Salemfor prospective home visits and training opportunities. Full-time.
Your Impact:As the Bridging Programs Licensing and Compliance Coordinator youll play a key role in ensuring Bridge Parents and Bridging Programs staff have the training support and resources they need to provide safe high-quality care to children and families. Youll oversee Bridge Parent (foster parent) licensing and relicensing across regions coordinate ongoing training and quality assurance efforts and help ensure program practices meet state licensing accreditation and regulatory standards. Through strong organization collaboration and attention to detail youll help strengthen program compliance support continuous improvement and contribute to an environment where youth families and caregivers can thrive.
Hiring Range:$44000 to $52000 annually - Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Candidates who meet only the minimum requirements can expect to start at the beginning of the range while those with additional and relevant experience and/or advanced skills may be considered for higher starting pay within the range.Benefits:

Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Social Work Human Services Education or a related field required.
- 3 years experience in working with children and families required.
- Prior experience in foster care licensing compliance or child welfare services preferred.
- Experience with audit preparation and maintaining compliance with licensing or accreditation standards.
- Prior experience in teaching training or facilitation particularly with adult learners.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Certifications:
- NTDC (National Training and Development Curriculum) certification preferred.
- Person Centered Plan training preferred.
- NC State Adoptions training preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong training facilitation and communication skills particularly with adult learners
- Excellent organization time management and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining accurate documentation
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with staff families leadership and external partners
- Knowledge of child welfare systems licensing compliance quality assurance or accreditation standards
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Sound judgment discretion adaptability and commitment to confidentiality
- Passion for supporting children families caregivers and diverse communities with a commitment to continuous improvement
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Bridge Parent (foster parent) licensing relicensing and required training across regions
- Serve as the primary liaison with NC State Licensing regarding Bridge Parent licensing and compliance requirements
- Conduct required pre-service home visits and ensure licensing documentation and files remain accurate and up to date
- Coordinate and facilitate ongoing in-service training and professional development for Bridge Parents and staff
- Coordinate internal file reviews and support preparation for state accreditation and other external audits
- Identify compliance gaps and collaborate with program leadership to address discrepancies corrective actions and training needs
- Support the development and revision of policies procedures forms and workflows to maintain compliance and program effectiveness
- Promote quality improvement model fidelity and adherence to licensing accreditation regulatory and contractual standards
