As a Specialty Care LPN at PIMC you will provide direct nursing support in one or more outpatient specialty clinics including Cardiology Internal Medicine Neurology and other specialty services. Working alongside physicians and advanced practice providers you will assist with patient assessments procedures medication management and care coordination for a diverse Native American patient population. This is a rewarding daytime role with the opportunity to develop specialized clinical skills while making a direct impact on an underserved community.

- Provide direct nursing care in outpatient specialty clinics (Cardiology Internal Medicine Neurology and others)
- Assist physicians and specialists with patient assessments procedures and follow-up visits
- Obtain and document vital signs patient histories and chief complaints
- Administer medications and injections per provider orders
- Perform point-of-care testing (EKGs glucose monitoring urinalysis etc.)
- Educate patients on treatment plans medications disease management and lifestyle modifications
- Coordinate referrals diagnostic testing and follow-up appointments across specialty services
- Prepare patients and equipment for specialty examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
- Support infection control protocols and clinic safety standards
- Active unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in any U.S. state
- Graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; specialty clinic or outpatient experience preferred
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Experience with EKG acquisition phlebotomy or specialty-specific procedures a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency with electronic health records
Outpatient Monday through Friday daytime hours. No nights no weekends no on-call.
