Job Summary
Performs activities related to assessing patient condition and providing nursing care.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Administers prescribed medications and administers treatment. Performs Triage and makes referrals when appropriate. Assist providers with procedures.
Assists with patient education regarding provider diagnosis and treatment plan.
Obtains and appropriately records patient history vital signs and initiates appropriate laboratory work per protocol. Applies and interprets TB skin tests.
Maintains inventory of needed medical and office supplies; reorders as necessary and ensures exam rooms are fully stocked each day.
Monitors and maintains clinic equipment; ensures it is in useable condition.
Monitors clinic facilities; maintains a clean and safe environment. Maintains appropriate infection controls based on OSHA standards.
Packages and sterilizes all medical instruments used in clinic.
Maintain patient confidentiality and security of medical information and medical records.

Qualifications
Requires a Tennessee State License for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)and 2 years of nursing experience.
