Optometrist / Ophthalmologist Independent Medical Evaluations
Poughkeepsie NY Flexible Location Per-Evaluation Compensation
The IMA Group is seeking a licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist to conduct independent eye examinations focused on vision loss and visual impairment. Work from anIMA location or your own private practice office if you have the required equipment. This is a flexible evaluation-only opportunity with no treatment prescribing follow-up care or on-call responsibilities.
What Youll Do
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments
- Perform visual acuity visual field automated perimetry and related testing
- Review medical history and documentation
- Prepare objective accurate medical reports
Compensation: Approximately $75 per completed evaluation with the potential to complete multiple evaluations per hour depending on case complexity.

Qualifications
- OD MD or DO with an Ophthalmology specialty
- Active unrestricted New York license
- Board certification preferred
- Strong clinical and documentation skills
