Job Summary
Full-Time / Monday - Friday 3:00PM to 11:00PM / with Holiday and On-Call Rotation
JOB DESCRIPTION
Education:
Minimum: High school diploma or GED/HSE accredited by the State Board of Education
Preferred: Trade School Graduate
Experience:
Minimum: 2 years of facilities or building systems maintenance experience and computer experience
Preferred: More than 5 years of varied maintenance related experience
License/Certification:
Plumbing License and/or Electricians License issued by the City of Seymour and/or HVAC Certification (HVAC Certification: Must have NATE Certification or equivalent that demonstrates working knowledge in the repair and installation of heating cooling and refrigeration equipment. Must also maintain a Freon Certification allowing for the purchase handling and installation of refrigerant)
Summary:
- Maintains and repairs facilitys equipment
- Constructs or alters physical facilities
- Maintains department records and reports
- Responsibly manages and uses appropriate tools and supplies in a safe manner for maintenance-related work
- Maintains appropriate level of communication with co-workers and Director
