Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Days

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on the day shift. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive healthcare environment where patient care and teamwork are top priorities.

• Interview patients to determine medical conditions and document findings in charts for physicians
• Obtain and record vital signs and weight
• Assist physicians during patient examinations
• Review physician orders lab requests and follow-up care with patients
• Document services for billing and medical records
• Provide basic patient care including wound dressing enemas douches alcohol rubs and massages
• Apply compresses ice packs and heat treatments
• Monitor patients and report adverse reactions to medications or treatments
• Administer medications orally subcutaneously or intramuscularly and document accordingly
• Assemble and use medical equipment such as catheters tracheotomy tubes and oxygen supplies
• Collect patient samples (urine blood sputum) and perform routine lab tests

• Frequent physical activity including lifting and transferring patients
• Prolonged standing and walking
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Manual dexterity for equipment use and documentation
• Visual acuity for patient assessment and record review

• Education: Associates Degree in Nursing
• Experience: 1-2 years of related experience preferred
• License: Active unencumbered LPN license in the State of Louisiana
