Location:

Philadelphia Pennsylvania. This is a flexible hybrid position offering a combination of in-office collaboration and remote work.

Note:

Candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar and have 2 years of relevant personal injury defense or liability claims defense experience.

Job Description

• Manage general liability and personal injury defense matters from opening through resolution
• Develop case strategy and communicate recommendations to clients
• Draft pleadings motions discovery responses and other litigation documents
• Take and defend depositions of parties fact witnesses and experts
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive briefs and motions
• Attend court hearings mediations conferences and other proceedings
• Assist with trial preparation and case resolution strategy
• Manage discovery deadlines reporting requirements and active litigation calendars
• Communicate effectively with insurance carriers corporate clients insureds opposing counsel and courts
• Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on complex liability matters

Qualifications

• 2 years of personal injury defense or liability claims defense experience
• JD from an accredited law school
• Active Pennsylvania Bar license in good standing
• Experience managing litigation matters and discovery
• Experience drafting pleadings motions and discovery responses
• Deposition experience strongly preferred
• Strong legal research writing analytical and oral advocacy skills
• Excellent time management organization and client communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively
• Collaborative and detail-oriented approach

$120000 to $130000 for 2 to 3 years;
