Position Details:

The Opportunity:
The Coordinator in the WSU Division of the State Attorney Generals Office (WSU AGO) reports directly to the Division Chief and the Assistant Director and serves as confidential legal support specialist to assistant attorneys general (AAGs) and coordinates litigation processes. The individual in this position must exercise discretion and good judgment when dealing with the public and execution of specialized activities. This position requires an understanding of legal terminology and court rules and excellent organizational and editing skills. Flexibility is imperative; job duties could change based on office needs.

Additional Information:

This is a full-time (100% FTE) permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.

Monthly Salary:

$4508.70 - $6763.00 Commensurate with experience and qualifications

In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.

Required qualification(s):

A Bachelors degree in a field relevant to area of specialization and three (3) years of experience directly related to the specialty area. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred qualification(s):

Five years of legal assistant/support experience in a law or governmental office OR equivalent education.
