Leer South Mine Equipment Operator

Job Title: Equipment OperatorJob Location: Leer South Mining Complex (Philippi WV)RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Operating at a minimum of three pieces of heavy equipment and support equipment on a refuse impoundment. Equipment operation includes: 775 haul trucks D-8 dozer D-6 dozer 16G grader 988H loader and vibrating roller. Must be involved with our STEEL safety program by performing Rivets (observations) on co-workers and communicate the findingsDozer operation will include reclamation of slopes and running grade on fillFuel lube and perform routine maintenance checks on a variety of mining equipment. Assist with moving light plants and slurry lines. Clean equipment as other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Must have a work ethic that allows him/her to demonstrate his/her ability daily with minimal have excellent interpersonal/communication skills and an ability to work with others in a team be willing to work in adverse conditions including but not limited to extreme heat cold dust rain snow and wind as well as frequent contact with grease and demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance. Must be able to work rotating shifts. Must be at least 18 years WILL REPORT TO: Refuse Site Supervisor
