Job Summary
The Learning Lab Teacher (Middle Grades) is a specialized instructional role dedicated to driving student achievement through targeted academic intervention. Operating within the schools Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework this educator designs and delivers Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions during the school day. A primary focus of the role is providing academic tutoring (focus on math) and teaching intervention classes/groups to close foundational learning gaps scaffold core curriculum concepts and explicitly teach essential executive functioning skillssuch as organization time management and study habitsto build lifelong academic self-efficacy for middle school addition the Learning Lab teacher provides a trauma-sensitive space for students who may struggle with emotional regulation within the regular classroom and works to provide continuity of education outside of the general Academy is located in Woonsocket Rhode Island and serves 168 student artists from across the state. We are looking for educators with:
