DETROIT AND SOUTHFIELD MI VARIOUS LOCATIONS
The Kettering Co-op Student supports departmental projects and day-to-day operations by applying academic knowledge in a professional environment. Working under the guidance of experienced team members the student gains hands-on experience while contributing to engineering IT manufacturing or business initiatives
The Role:
Your work will include but not be limited to:
- Support team projects assignments and operational activities.
- Assist with data analysis documentation reporting and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.
- Participate in problem-solving efforts and provide recommendations.
- Develop technical and professional skills through hands-on learning and mentorship.
- Follow company policies procedures and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in Kettering Universitys Cooperative Education Program.
- Pursuing a degree in Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
This role provides students with practical industry experience while contributing to Lears business objectives and innovation efforts.
