LEAR CO-OP STUDENT

DETROIT AND SOUTHFIELD MI VARIOUS LOCATIONS

The Kettering Co-op Student supports departmental projects and day-to-day operations by applying academic knowledge in a professional environment. Working under the guidance of experienced team members the student gains hands-on experience while contributing to engineering IT manufacturing or business initiatives

The Role:

Your work will include but not be limited to:

  • Support team projects assignments and operational activities.
  • Assist with data analysis documentation reporting and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.
  • Participate in problem-solving efforts and provide recommendations.
  • Develop technical and professional skills through hands-on learning and mentorship.
  • Follow company policies procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in Kettering Universitys Cooperative Education Program.
  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

This role provides students with practical industry experience while contributing to Lears business objectives and innovation efforts.
