Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation ofDaily Management utilizing iObeya (New Daily ManagementSoftware)
Assist with digital Lean initiatives using tools such as Power BI Excel Smartsheet
Support problem-solving activities using Lean methodologies
Assist tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement
Provide support forBiQ (Built in Quality) rollout initiatives
Conductdata gathering tracking and analysisto support lean and operational improvement projects
Participate in Kaizen events to improve Safety Quality and Delivery
Help identify process improvement opportunities and support execution of action plans
Collaborate with plant teams and stakeholders to ensure successful deployment of continuous improvement initiatives like 5S Value Stream Mapping Standard Work to improve workplace organization efficiency and safety
This is not a sit-behind-a-desk internship. The selected candidate will spend significant time on the production floor interacting with operations maintenance quality engineering and leadership teams.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree inEngineering Operations Supply Chain Manufacturing Business or a related field
Strong interest inlean manufacturing continuous improvement and plant operations
Analytical mindset with the ability to collect organize and interpret data
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency inMicrosoft Excel PowerPoint and other basic data/reporting tools
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing or operational environment with cross-functional teams
