Lead Upholstery Technician

An outstanding full-time opening has become available for an individual with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Auto Upholstery as a Lead Upholstery Tech near the Bellevue WA area. This position would earn a competitive base salary terrific benefits like PTO and other outstanding perks.

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration

Lead Upholstery Tech will be responsible for:

• All aspects of interior upholstery restoration replacement and repair from floor to roof seats trim and lining
• Highly customized installations and precision vintage restoration
• Extensive use of sewing machines and application of various techniques
• Hand-crafted upholstery work required
• Use of tools and equipment including drills

Required work experience includes:

• Please DO NOT APPLY unless you have AT LEAST 5 years of experience in ALL aspects of interior upholstery customization restoration and repair.
• Experience with sewing machines and hand stitching
• Experience with custom automotive interior upholstery
• Experience with recovering and repairing automotive seats including fitting installing and securing material on frames using hand tools power tools glue cement or staples for interior automotive seats
• Experience with measuring and cutting new covering materials using patterns measurement and cutting instruments and following sketches and design specifications
• Experience with making restoring and/or creating custom automotive interior seats using hand tools and using knowledge of fabrics and upholstery methods

Required education/ licenses include:

• High School Diploma
