Lead Tool Maker

Job Description

• Read a blue print/sample part and use it to visualize the job to then build the specific tooling.
• Perform a various machine tool operations.
• Perform all functions related to maintaining repairing and rebuilding dies.

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration

• Please DO NOT APPLY unless you have a minimum of 4 years of experience building progressive dies
• Experienced with various types of machine shop machinery including drill presses lathes milling machines surface grinders etc.
• Demonstrated experience working on construction of new dies
• Possess mechanical aptitude and basic math skills (trigonometry algebra geometry)
• Experience building drill jigs and holding fixtures to complement production
• Experience troubleshooting issues with dies in machinery
• Employee must possess his/her own tools
