Reporting to the Manager Operations we are seeking customer focused multi-service self-motivated Lead Technicians for the area of Fiber cable Installation and Repair. As a leader in providing telecommunications services we specialize in providing installation maintenance and emergency repair support to telecommunications companies from across the United States.
What Youll Do Here:
- Must be safety conscious and able to adhere to a highly focused safety culture
- Monitor manage and lead all field performance requirements to meet or exceed established Installation and Service benchmarks
- Participate in performance management reviews and provide necessary feedback to strengthen the teams performance
- Ensure all technicians comply with uniform and safety policies
- Support telecommunication installation activities (Vehicle Management / Inspections / Reporting)
- Present training courses to new employees or new process updates to the team
- Update training material and create new process training courses when needed
- Execute quality of work inspections and coach technicians on quality installations
- Serve as the primary liaison between Field Technicians Operations Support and end users ensuring effective communication and seamless service delivery.
- Conduct field visits with technicians as required
- Complete all required documentation for Safety Quality Assurance and Vehicle Maintenance purposes
- Ensure all tools and equipment are inspected on a regular basis and are kept in good working condition
- Manage and track customer complaints and resolution
What You Bring to the Team:
- Excellent Customer Service skills both internally and externally
- Must be technically inclined and have a desire to learn
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Installation and repair experience in fiber cable installation and excavation
- Must be willing to travel as required and provide a clear driving record on an annual basis
- Successfully complete a criminal background check
- This position requires working in varying heights and spaces in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Evening and weekend work is required
- Ability and willingness to work long hours when required.
- Able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Office sitting for periods of time and utilizing the telephone and computer.
- On the Road sitting in vehicle driving and completing paperwork.
- Job Site periodically uses locate equipment (25 lbs) and 20 lbs transmitter.
- Capacity to lift and work with materials weighing up to 75 lbs
- Must be comfortable working at heights with ladders or bucket truck (training will be provided).
Pay and Benefits
The expected pay range for this role is $26 - $30 per hour.
Individual pay is determined based on several factors including work location education experience unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications specialized training and the complexity or scope of the role.
