Lead Teacher Early Childhood Education
The Learning Experience Worcester is seeking an experienced Lead Teacher to join our growing team. Were looking for a Massachusetts EEC Certified educator who can confidently lead a classroom mentor assistant teachers and create engaging learning experiences for young children.
Whether working with infants toddlers or preschoolers youll help build a positive classroom culture where children feel safe supported and inspired to learn every day.
Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of daily classroom instruction and management
Plan and implement engaging developmentally appropriate learning experiences using The Learning Experiences L.E.A.P. Curriculum
Foster childrens cognitive language physical and social-emotional development
Mentor and support Assistant Teachers while promoting teamwork and collaboration
Build strong relationships with children and families through consistent communication
Maintain a safe organized and welcoming classroom
Ensure compliance with all Massachusetts EEC licensing regulations and health and safety standards
Qualifications
Massachusetts EEC Teacher Certification required
Previous experience serving as a Lead Teacher in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
Strong classroom management leadership and communication skills
Passion for early childhood education and child development
CPR and First Aid certification preferred
