• Prior experience as an aquatics supervisor pool operator or experience leading swim lessons overseeing pool operations facility maintenance lifeguards & safety compliance
• Ability to work with children and manage multiple priorities while creating a positive team culture
• Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
• Ability to complete lifeguard CPR & AED certification class as part of training
• Ability to perform job functions in a warm humid setting and chlorinated pool (lifting standing for extended periods of time demonstrating curriculum skills and performing in-water rescues if necessary). Noise level is usually moderate
  
  

1. Provide swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum
2. Educate students on safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents
3. Support the pool deck as needed and complete required paperwork in a timely manner
4. Interact with parents/guardians on the activities and development of students swim skills
5. Use problem-solving and creative thinking skills to identify and resolve challenges that students encounter working individually with instructors or students as needed
6. Supervise train and support lifeguards and swim instructors and provide feedback
7. Maintain and ensure proper storage of all pool equipment
8. Perform light cleaning duties such as window washing deck mopping trash removal etc. on occasion
9. Plan and lead team workshops and in-service trainings to review curriculum and safety procedures with a team of swim instructors and lifeguards
10. Fulfill other duties or responsibilities as assigned
