Job Summary:
Seeking a hands-on Senior/Lead Software Engineer to support the modernization and migration of existing on-prem applications to AWS. The role will focus on cloud readiness application development integration deployment and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design development testing integration and deployment.
- Migrate and modernize on-prem applications for AWS.
- Develop technical solutions and participate in architecture decisions.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor developers.
- Identify technical risks and improve application performance.
- Collaborate with Architects Product Owners Scrum Masters and Project Managers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8 years of software engineering experience.
- 3 years hands-on experience with: AWS EKS Kubernetes Istio Helm Charts and OAuth 2.0.
- Strong Java application development experience.
- Cloud migration / modernization experience.
- Agile DevOps CI/CD and SDLC.
- Experience with application integration deployment testing and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps and software architecture.
- Experience with databases such as Oracle SQL MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
- Strong technical leadership stakeholder communication and mentoring skills.
