Lead Quick Lube Technician

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience certifications productivity and leadership ability.

At Kool Toyota we pride ourselves on providing outstanding customer service and a positive team environment. We are looking for an experienced Lead Quick Lube Technician to help lead our express service team while delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services to our customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys working with people mentoring others and taking the next step in their automotive career.

• Lead and support the daily operations of the Quick Lube team.
• Perform oil changes tire rotations fluid services filter replacements battery services and multi-point inspections.
• Inspect diagnose and repair brake steering and suspension concerns.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately efficiently and according to manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Train and mentor entry-level technicians.
• Maintain shop productivity and assist with workflow management.
• Review repair orders and service documentation for accuracy.
• Communicate vehicle needs and recommendations with service advisors and management.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean organized work area.
• Help deliver an exceptional customer experience.

• Valid Michigan Automotive Technician Certification in:
  • Brakes
  • Steering & Suspension
• Minimum 3 years of automotive maintenance and repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance services.
• Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous leadership supervisory or team lead experience.
• ASE Certifications.
• Experience with digital vehicle inspections (DVI).
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Full-Time

• Monday through Friday
• Occasional Saturdays as needed

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
