The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Lead Program Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Berkeley MO; El Segundo CA; Everett WA Tukwila; WA Mesa AZ; Oklahoma City OK; or Philadelphia PA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Leads and manages Enterprise Standard Gated Process (ESGP) on multiple programs
- Supports Program Start Up and Earned Value Management (EVM) execution across multiple programs
- Provides Program Management Best Practice (PMBP) guidance and support across multiple programs
- Supports Rate Change Readiness (RCR) and Work Movement across multiple programs working directly with Program Management teams and key functional stakeholders
- Supports implementation of Integrated Product Teams (IPT) model across multiple programs
- Facilitates and ensures integration of project plans schedules change and baseline management processes techniques considered to be best practice across the industry
- Coordinates commitments and communications with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategic initiatives
- Engages (e.g. workshops forums training etc.) the PM community on program management requirements responsibilities and best practices
- Represents senior management as required to communicate functional policy strategy and direction
- Liaises with Enterprise Industry and Academic Program Management thought leaders to import best practices and shape our future as a function
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required
- Experience leading or managing process improvement projects
- Experience building and presenting plans or recommendations to executive leadership
- Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers and partners
- Experience analyzing data and developing metrics to track performance to plan for a business/organization
- Experience with Program Management Best Practices
- Experience with the Enterprise Standard Gated Process
- 10 years of experience with end-to-end project/program management: conception and initiation planning execution performance/monitoring and project closeout
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors degree or higher
- Experience with the ESGP Online Tool
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) Certification (current or in work)
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD9 years related work experience Master12 years related work experience 18 years related work experience etc.)
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Mesa AZ and Berkley MO - $157250 - $212750
Everett WA; Tukwila WA Philadelphia PA; and
EI Segundo CA - $168300 - 227700
