Lead PreK Teacher

The Sapling School is seeking a dedicated and passionate LeadPreK Teacher to join our team in Fair Lawn NJ. This role involves creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for pre-kindergarten students fostering their social emotional and academic development. The ideal candidate will be committed to early childhood education and skilled at designing age-appropriate curriculum and activities.

• Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities for PreK students.
• Create a safe supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Observe and assess each childs progress and communicate regularly with parents and staff.
• Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to enhance the educational experience.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with school policies and regulations.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities.

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Relevant certification for teaching PreK is highly desirable.
• Proven experience working with young children in an educational setting.
• Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work anywhere from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

• Competitive hourly wage between $17.00 - $20.00 paid bi-weekly dependent on degree certification and experience.
