Role Summary
HCL Technologies is hiring a Senior Lead ML Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-scale AI/ML solutions. The role combines hands-on engineering and technical leadership to build scalable production-ready AI systems across finance risk customer experience and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead ML data and software engineering teams on AI initiatives
- Design scalable ML/AI architectures and production systems
- Build solutions using LLMs RAG vector databases semantic search and AI agents
- Develop ML pipelines for training deployment monitoring and retraining (MLOps)
- Implement CI/CD model governance and responsible AI practices
- Optimize large-scale data pipelines and distributed systems on cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP)
- Evaluate and adopt emerging AI technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor s in CS Data Science Engineering or related field
- 8 years in large-scale data/ML systems
- 4 years coding in Python/Java/Scala
- 3 years in production ML deployment
- 2 years in technical leadership
- Strong knowledge of ML lifecycle cloud and distributed systems
