Lead Industrial Electrician

Responsibilities:

• Lead Industrial Electrical Construction jobs Primarily in the Oil & Gas Industry
  • Typical job size is between $200K to $1M
  • Typical crew size between 2 to 6 people
• Oversee project lifecycle: estimating support planning scheduling procurement execution and closeout
• Develop and manage project budgets forecasts and cost controls
• Coordinate field crews subcontractors vendors and internal resources
• Review drawings specifications and contracts to ensure compliance and scope clarity
• Manage change orders RFIs submittals and documentation
• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met
• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and company standards
• This is a field position presence is required during construction operations
• Maintain strong client relationships
• Participate in project meetings and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Install maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues
• Read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and technical drawings
• Install and connect wiring conduits switches transformers circuit breakers and other electrical components
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
• Investigate and problem solve to determine most efficient way to install changes to existing electrical service
• Lead mentor and direct less experienced electricians

Experience/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• 5 years of Industrial Electrical Construction experience
• 2 years experience as Project/Crew Lead for Electrical Construction project in the Oil and Gas Industry
• Master Electrician License preferred
• PMP certification preferred
• Electrical Construction Estimating experience preferred
• Strong experience in oil & gas facilities (upstream midstream or downstream preferred)
• Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems power distribution motor controls and hazardous area classifications
• Proven ability to manage budgets schedules and field personnel
• Strong knowledge of NEC (or applicable electrical code)
• Excellent leadership communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to travel to job sites as required
• Experience with Class I Div 1 & 2 installations
