Job Summary
The Lead Ice Skating Instructor is responsible for overseeing and delivering high-quality ice-skating instruction for the DeForest Parks Recreation & Forestry Departments Learn to Skate programs including Little Skaters Snowplow Sam 15 and Basic 16 levels. This position ensures a fun safe and supportive environment for skaters of all ages and abilities while leading a team of assistant instructors.

Minimum age: 18 experience as a skating instructor coach or competitive skater of Learn to Skate USA curriculum or equivalent communication and leadership skills; ability to direct assistant enjoy working with children and families in a positive encouraging to skate confidently and demonstrate basic through intermediate and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain prior to program start) preferred.
