In this role you will install troubleshoot and support integrated electronic security systems including Access Control Video Surveillance (CCTV) Intrusion Detection structured cabling and supporting network infrastructure.

What You Will Do

Lead the installation maintenance testing troubleshooting and repair of electronic security systems
Install and terminate copper and fiber-optic cabling infrastructure
Install and configure Access Control CCTV Intrusion Detection and related security technologies
Set up and program security system communications networks
Install servers workstations clients network devices and supporting equipment
Perform system commissioning functional testing and quality assurance inspections
Troubleshoot hardware software cabling and network-related issues
Create and maintain installation documentation test reports and project records
Coordinate with project managers customers subcontractors and other trades to ensure successful project execution
Support project completion while maintaining safety quality and schedule requirements

What You Bring

Required:

High School Diploma GED or equivalent technical training
Minimum 3 years of experience installing low-voltage systems including Access Control CCTV Intrusion Detection and structured cabling
Experience installing and terminating copper and fiber-optic cabling systems
AMAG Symmetry Access Control Essentials Certification
AMAG Symmetry End User System Manager Training
Knowledge of low-voltage electronics wiring methods and industry color standards
Understanding of electrical components power supplies and system connectivity
Experience working on construction sites and coordinating with multiple trades
Familiarity with electrical and communications testing equipment
Understanding of basic networking principles
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Ability to travel approximately 50%
Ability to pass DMV drug screening and background verification requirements
Ability to obtain a federal government security clearance

Preferred:

Experience with Integrated Electronic Security Systems (IESS) including Access Control Video Surveillance or Intrusion Detection
Experience supporting federal government projects or agencies
Military technical or leadership experience
Understanding of communications networks and network troubleshooting
Experience leading installation teams or mentoring junior technicians
Industry certifications related to security systems networking or structured cabling

Pay Range: $32$35 per hour depending on experience
