Our challenge

We are seeking a skilledDevOps Engineerto help build automate and maintain reliable scalable and secure software delivery infrastructure. The ideal candidate will work closely with development QA security and operations teams to improve deployment processes system performance monitoring and overall engineering efficiency.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other accordance with law the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte NC is$95k - $99k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software builds testing and deployments.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across platforms such as AWS Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud.
  • Use Infrastructure as Code tools to provision and manage environments.
  • Automate operational processes deployments configuration management and system maintenance.
  • Monitor application and infrastructure performance availability and security.
  • Investigate and resolve production incidents outages and performance issues.
  • Implement logging alerting monitoring and observability solutions.
  • Collaborate with software developers to improve application reliability and deployment processes.
  • Establish and maintain backup disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
  • Apply security best practices throughout infrastructure and deployment workflows.
  • Manage containerized applications and orchestration platforms.
  • Maintain technical documentation runbooks and operational procedures.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities when required.
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt tools and practices that improve system reliability and engineering productivity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experiencein DevOps cloud engineering site reliability engineering or systems administration.
  • Strong experience with Linux or Unix-based operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI/CD Azure DevOps or CircleCI.
  • Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform CloudFormation or Pulumi.
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
  • Strong scripting or programming skills in Python Bash PowerShell or a similar language.
  • Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.
  • Knowledge of networking security DNS load balancing and system administration.
  • Experience implementing monitoring and logging tools.
  • Strong analytical troubleshooting and communication skills.
